At Haven Training Group, we believe that personal safety is a fundamental right. Our mission is to ensure that the skills required to protect yourself and your community are accessible, principled, and grounded in real-world data. We have avoided the “one-size-fits-all” tactical stereotype to create a “Haven” – a supportive environment where students of all backgrounds can build confidence and technical proficiency without the ego.
Our curriculum is structured as a progressive journey, moving from initial safety to advanced community integration:
- Haven Foundation: We begin with the essential mechanics and safety principles, ensuring every student has a rock-solid starting point. For those students who already have some firearms training, this course is not required before taking Haven Applied.
- Haven Applied: Once the basics are set, we move to our Applied course. This course takes you from theory to practice, focusing on the core fundamentals of defensive shooting: mastering proper stance, grip, and the mechanical precision required in your trigger control for reliable performance and accuracy.
- Haven Evolution: Our current highest-level offering is our Haven Evolution course. Here, we take the refined skills from our Applied courses and integrate them into the broader context of community defense. Students learn to apply their technical mastery to complex, real-world dynamics and collaborative safety.

Haven Foundations
Master the fundamentals of firearm safety and mechanics in this accessible, one-hour classroom-only session. Perfect for new owners or those looking to solidify their safety knowledge in a low-pressure environment.
Haven Applied
Transition from the classroom to the firing line. This two-hour course combines safety practices with hands-on live-fire training, helping you build confidence and consistent marksmanship under professional guidance.
Haven Evolution
Elevate your capabilities in this four-hour course. Designed for community-oriented defense, you will master movement, malfunction clearing, and reloading from cover to prepare for real-world scenarios.
