Donate to Haven Training Group
We have begun working toward incorporating and getting our 501(c)(3) status approved. This will cost some money, but we are trying to keep the total as low as possible. For the moment, we are setting a goal of $2000 to cover these expenses, as well as the cost of a few website upgrades to accommodate the functionality the site will need to make our mission successful (this accounts for around $350 of the total goal), and supplies to get the word out to the community through fliers, pamphlets, and posters (this accounts for around $150 of the total goal).
For Phase I, once we are successful in establishing ourselves as a non-profit with the IRS, all donations will become retroactively tax-deductible. Also, our Founder and lead instructor, Donny, has committed to matching all Phase I donations 1:1 up to a total of $1,000. This means anything you are able to help us with will automatically be doubled until the funding goal is met. Thank you so much for any help you are able to contribute!
Phase I
Phase I donations will be dedicated entirely to paying the initial legal, consulting, and filing fees to incorporate and apply for 501(c)(3) status. This option will be disabled once that goal is achieved.
Phase II
Phase II donations will be used to purchase the equipment and supplies needed to start our live-fire courses. This includes 6 Glock 44 .22 caliber pistols, ammunition for the first 10 classes, targets, etc.
Phase III
Phase III donations are for the people. Simply put, you can give folks who can’t afford the trainng they need and want the opportunity to attend our professional training courses at zero cost.
